Seasons Greetings

Just a quick post to let you all know that Christmas may well have come a tad early for this bah humbug, the news about Lucy improves day by day and it looks as if the crises is about over. Apologies for being a tad reticent over posting and also leaving comments on you fine peoples blogs but as we all know life does get in the way. I'd like to offer my thanks once more for all your kind words and support for Lucy.

Not sure that I'll be having too much time over the coming week to post so I thought that I'd get the goodwill to all my friends here in the blog worlds done afore I forget.

So a very Merry Christmas to each and every one of you and may the New Year bring you everything that you wish for.

  See I can be nice

Your friend, John

In return, the best of wishes to you and your wife, and of course, Lucy! Glad to read that everything with Lucy is looking much better. Again, the power of compassion and care of all your blogging friends is an amazing tool. Don't be gone to long from posting, I miss reading of your trips and times in your area.

Super news about Lucy. My best friend is my Zuni...people and I really don't mix very well. I'm kind of a "friendly" loner that can be cordial if need be :-)
If I could pull it off, I'd live in a Yurt with animals as my companions, in the middle of nowhere with mountains, rivers and forests. Kind of like my ancestors did. Oh well it is almost 2011 and the dream continues.
Have a wonderful holiday as well as forever.

I've been nearly computerless for the last couple weeks, so hadn't heard about Lucy. I'm glad the first news I got was GOOD news! For what it's worth, I'll say a prayer for her this evening. Some Christians may be offended by those of us who pray for "mere" animals, but I believe that God loves ALL his creatures; how else could he love mankind?

Yay for Lucy, and for you as well. SO relieved. Pray for "mere animals"? You bet I do. All the time. And Lucy will remain in my prayers this winter, as will you and yours. I'm SO glad my life intersected with yours this year. I'm much the richer for it.
Merry Christmas, John.
